Display deviations in chrome-based browers from v128 onwards

With the release of Google Chrome v128 (see release notes https://developer.chrome.com/release-notes/128), an update of chrome-based browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, …) may result in different displays in the visualization of webMI projects due to the implementation of new features in the browser.

This may affect webMI pro versions from v2.01 onwards and webMI SDK visualizations based on atvise® builder from v3.1 onwards.

We would like to point out that the current webMI based visualizations support Google Chrome v108.x and Microsoft Edge v108.x, among others. These have been fully tested and approved for the release.

For a quick project-specific solution, the parameter "frame.scaletype" in the "webmicfg.js" file under "SYSTEM.LIBRARY.ATVISE.RESOURCES" must be set to "transform" in order to resolve the display problems and restore a consistent display compared to previous versions.

Example:

var webMIConfig = {
"frame.scaletype": "transform"
};

For webMI projects, the visualization must then be distributed to the target device again. You can find corresponding instructions in the help.

Contrary to the help, the "zoom" option should not be used at the moment. For projects that only use chrome-based browsers before v128, no measures are necessary or recommended; from v128 onwards, the measure is mandatory.

For future releases of atvise® and webMI based visualizations, support for chrome-based browsers from v128 onwards as well as support for the newly implemented browser features is planned.
