The latest addition to the M100 I/O system at a glance:
First up are the HD modules (High Density) , which offer up to 50% more channels in the same space. This is followed by a powerful power supply module for reliable station operation with high loads and new interface modules that make our M100 series even more flexible.
HD modules (High Desity)
The new HD modules offer up to 50% more channels in the same compact form factor. For users, this means a space-saving solution that also enables significant cost savings - both in terms of hardware and integration.
Despite their higher density, the HD modules offer the same extensive additional functions as the standard modules. Four HD module types are currently available: DIS136, DOS136, AIO116 and UIO108.
Station supply – PSI135
For larger installations and increased immunity to interference, we now offer new dedicated power supply modules to ensure optimum reliability. These power supplies can be used in parallel with the M100 bus couplers, increasing both the power range and the reliability of the station.
Serial Interface Modules – COM102 / COM104
The new COM102 and COM104 modules offer serial interfaces according to the
RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 standards, which can be set individually for each channel. Multiple placement on the EtherCAT substation allows numerous COM ports to be easily distributed and used flexibly.
