COM104

The COM104 module for the backplane offers 4 serial ports which are isolated against each other and the RS-485, RS-422 and RS-232 standards can be selected as well as the baud rate and the handshake procedure. The ports can be used with the communication solutions for Modbus RTU/ASCII, IEC 60870-5-101 and -103 or DNP3. Customized protocols can be implemented in PLC and C/C++. Thanks to the native mapping of the COM ports in the operating system of the control CPU, this implementation can take place regardless of whether the COM104 module is operated directly on the CPU or remotely via a fieldbus. The LEDs on the module enable targeted diagnostics in the switch cabinet even without a laptop.
